Privacy Policy

Kalta is built and operated by Apex Digital. This policy covers what we collect, why, and how you can control it. If anything here is unclear, email support.apexdigital@gmail.com.
What we collect
Kalta collects only what's needed to run the app:
- Account information — your email address, used solely for sign-in and account recovery.
- Session data you log — session type (cold plunge, sauna, contrast), temperature, duration, felt rating, and any notes you write. This is the core of what Kalta stores, and it's the same data you can see in the app.
- Goals and preferences — your display name and any daily or monthly goals you set.
- Device information for notifications — if you enable reminders, we store what's needed to deliver a local notification to your device. This does not involve any third-party analytics or advertising network.
We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any device data beyond what's listed above.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data, to anyone, ever.
- We don't share your session logs with advertisers or data brokers.
- We don't run ads in Kalta, so there's no advertising SDK collecting data in the background.
- We don't use your health and wellness data to train any model or share it with third parties.
How your data is stored
Session and account data is stored with Supabase, our backend provider, using row-level security — meaning the database itself enforces that you can only ever read or write your own records, not anyone else's. Data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS.
Health & fitness data
Kalta is listed in the Health & Fitness category because it logs cold exposure and heat therapy sessions. This data is never used for advertising, never sold, and is visible only to you. If Kalta ever adds wearable integrations in the future, connecting them will always be optional and clearly disclosed at the time.
Your controls
- Edit or delete any session at any time from within the app.
- Delete your account by contacting support.apexdigital@gmail.com — this permanently removes your account and all associated session data from our systems.
- Turn off notifications at any time in Settings.
Children's privacy
Kalta is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is used, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Kalta after a change means you accept the update.
